My Photo

Welcome

  • Thank you for visiting! Making art and crafting away in my studio is what my heart tells me to do and it hasn't steered me wrong yet. I love following my bliss as it feeds the soul. My musical selections are part of my creative process--if you are one of those who hate music on blogs--feel free to turn the bear off by pressing the center button. All images and text (unless otherwise noted) are copyright 2004-2009 by Theresa Smythe. Please be respectful ~ otherwise karma will get you in the end. No doubt.

The book's cover art looks wonderful.
I've wondered before (when I tried and gave up on traditional talk therapy - divorce from first marriage), if art therapy would be a better alternative for those who are more visually and physically attuned. It seems more healing somehow to me. I hope it works out well for you.
Sending many thoughts, prayers and hugs your way.

I'm glad you've found this outlet, Theresa. I know it will bring about great things for you :).

Bears and Relations

  • Buster & Sophie
In 2007, I started making bears and other cotter-pin jointed animals. It was something I never thought I could do so I've been very excited with the results. I love making bears and working with mohair. My heart told me so and it was right.
